- "Our most recent info placed the Shadow Knight in the Triatio Highlands for at least a short while, but we have no idea what he came there to do. What we do know is that, right around the time of his appearance, gigantic creatures appeared in the highlands."
- "Soldiers have been dispatched from Navea to the highlands, of course, but the locals are being uncooperative. That's making it difficult to conduct a fruitful investigation."

- You find it surprising that the local citizens wouldn't want to aid the investigation.
Darcy
- "The highland's hunters and the giants who live there have a long, ongoing feud over the hunting grounds there. They fight their battles in their own way and don't seem to have any intention of listening to Church representatives."
- "The hunters also seem to have become more intense in their offensive against the giants lately. We have to take careful stock of things before we think of intervening."

Angus
- "Several Templars are already stationed in the marsh, dispatched here to investigate at Anya's command."
- We still don't know the Shadow Knight's true intentions, but our investigations have turned up several murders over the last few months, many committed under mysterious circumstances. The prime suspects are a fierce group known as the Corpser Bandits.
- "The Templars have rooted out the Corpser Bandits several times in the past, but like weeds, they tend to grow back. If the Shadow Knight came to Candeo Marsh to recruit the Corpsers to his cause, they could be a real thorn in our side."

- "Just as you heard, after laying claim to the Cube of Gaia, the Shadow Knight absconded to the Triatio Highlands and the Candeo Marsh, but from there, his trail became murky."
- "Whether his intent is to expand his forces or something else entirely, we must reclaim the Cube of Gaia from him before he is able to tap too deeply into its power."

- You wonder why the Shadow Knight chose to head to those two places, but right now you didn't have enough clues to make a guess.
Eidolon
- "It seems that our shortcoming now is a lack of information. Might I suggest we investigate the matter further?" <Eidolon> looks at you expectantly.

- Hearing <Eidolon>'s support, you nod in agreement, asking the Grand Bishop where to begin your investigation.

- "That, dear <Envoy>, is up to you. You can head to the Triatio Highlands and ally with the hunters there to investigate the giant creatures there, or journey to Candeo Marsh, where a mysterious murder has left us with many questions and few answers. When you're ready, just speak with the officers in charge."
