Envoy

A fancy looking note posted to the bulletin board draws your attention. In perfect calligraphy, the letter "E" is written largely on the cover. Out of curiosity, you decide to give it a closer look.

Mirabelle

"Oh! Wait just one moment, please!" Mirabelle swiftly plucks the note out of your hand before you can even react.

Envoy

You give Mirabelle a confused look. What's going on?

Mirabelle

"You don't know who this is from, do you?" Mirabelle explains.

"This "E" stands for Eddie; specifically, the famous Demon Hunter and Exorcist, Eddie. Whenever he accepts a quest, he uses some magic to write his fancy "E" on the cover."

"He does this because he is usually too short to reach up to grab it..." Mirabelle whispers.

"So, you see, Eddie has marked this one. That means he's already working on it. Normally everybody knows his method, so they don't bother him."

"But, there's no rule saying that a team can't do the same quest, as long as they both want to work together. He's currently hunting Crystal Shadows in the Abandoned Mine. It's dangerous, but with you and Eddie together, I think it'll be a breeze! So, what do you say? Wanna go help out Eddie?"

Eddie shouts loudly, "Hey, you! Human! We must bring down Callisto!"

"You did it! Not that I doubted you, of course. Actually, this was only a simple test I prepared for you!"

"Pretending to have taken a grave hit, I was hoping to distract him - it was a success! That's why you could so easily defeat the great Callisto!"

Envoy

You look at Eddie doubtfully.

Eddie

"Hey, what's that look for?! Ok, ok, you did help me. But only a tiny bit! Here, take this. It's your share of the reward." Eddie looks shocked by his own words as he hands over the reward.

"Ok, we're done here! You can leave, I want to be alone with my thoughts. Distracting Callisto was exhausting work, so I could use a bit of time to myself."
